Our forward-looking corporate policy places great emphasis on promoting young people in training for a scientific profession.

The E.ON Energie Science Award is our contribution to uniting science with business.

We intend to support research and development of new ideas, especially in fields that are close to our core business or take an interdisciplinary approach. This is why, since 2001, we have been awarding prizes for the three best doctoral and university diploma theses in the fields of business management and energy at Munich Technical University. Our main objective is to foster budding scientific talent showing evidence of their innovative and hands-on acumen in their theses.

The last award ceremony took place on February 1, 2006, at Munich Technical University and was again held in cooperation with the business management chair, focusing on business management, logistics and production.

Six university diploma and three doctoral candidates at Munich Technical University were conferred the "E.ON Energie Science Award" for their outstanding work.
