E.ON Energie has been working together with the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Foundation for 4 years. We are proud of this collaborative activity since the series of presentations that emerged from this cooperation has become an integral part of our event program that we cannot imagine renouncing.

Close Cooperation with E.ON Energie

One of the aims behind our joint efforts was to broaden our employees´ horizons and confront them with sociopolitical and scientific issues besides their daily work routines. We make use of the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Foundation´s network, which is built on the foundations provided by the outstanding lifetime achievement and reputation of the German physicist and philosopher Carl Friedrich Freiherr von Weizsäcker.

We unite our staff and guests of the Foundation for speeches and discussions on our Piazza. Issues addressed run the gamut from the sociopolitical to the popular-scientific. The Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Foundation has been in existence since June 28, 2002. Its statutes express the following ambition: Gain insight that remains effective over the long term and helps identify, chart and travel courses necessary to manage the challenges and responsibilities we face. The Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Foundation promotes the sciences, research, education and political action, moving to fill the ethical void left by the world of science and technology.
