The Aid for Kids ("Hilfe für Kids") campaign was initiated by the Munich County Youth Club-Munich City "Kreisjugendring München-Stadt" for children in socially disadvantaged families.

Aid for Kids offers lunch, homework assistance, holiday excursions and classes.

In Munich, one in 13 children lives in poverty. Many of them make use of the recreational centers organized by the Munich City Branch of the Munich County Youth Club. Some 2,500 youngsters stop by on a daily basis.  E.ON Energie has been sponsoring the Aid for Kids initiative for several years now. At the summer festival, Hartmut Geldmacher, Executive Vice President of E.ON Energie, handed over a €30,000 check to Hilfe für Kids´staff.
