The deregulation of electricity markets caused the energy sector to undergo fundamental change. Strictly demarcated supply areas were turned into free markets, and electricity became a commodity traded throughout Europe.

Our company has experienced a substantial rise in trading volume in recent years as well: trading activity accounts for a high share of power procured. Moreover, we are accredited on all of Europe's major electricity exchanges and trading markets - both for physical and financial products. We are active from Leipzig to Paris and Amsterdam to Graz, and we will be present wherever exchanges emerge. Our in-house power plants are also optimally managed by our trading operations.
