Power plants need secure, high-capacity connections to the public power grid. Today?s efficient, state-of-the-art power plants are capable of generating so much electricity that they have to be connected to the high and ultra-high-voltage grids.

Procedures in place for connecting power stations to the public grid establish what needs to be done to this end by power plant investors and E.ON Netz.

E.ON Netz revised these procedures. This was occasioned by the significant rise in the number of network customers seeking to connect their power plants to the grid as of late. E.ON Netz is meeting this demand by offering applicants requesting connectivity a host of advantages:
